Prayer department is a vital part of demonstrating the power and active presence of God’s kingdom. We encourage a passion for prayer within the congregation’s life and departments of the church so that the power of Christ’s love is made manifest in all we are and do. Just as Jesus recognized that the source of His power came from His connection   with   His   father (Mark 1:35), we in the Prayer department encourages members to be strong in the Lord and to declare the Gospel of the Kingdom with power. Prayer is a vital link in all we do.

Your health is your wealth! The Health department’s mission is to demonstrate God’s love by promoting the principles of health as taught in the Bible and the inspired writings of the Spirit of Prophecy. We remind our church members and community that their bodies are a gift from God and a temple in which He dwells. We should therefore do all we can to glorify God by doing our best to live in optimum health in all aspects of our lives; which includes physical, spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual health.

The focal point of the Adventist Youth Society is the salvation of youth through Jesus Christ. Our mission includes:

  • Leading young   people   to   understand their individual worth and to discover and develop their spiritual gifts and abilities.
  • Equipping and empowering young people for a life of service with God’s church and community.
  • Ensuring the integration of youth into all aspects of church life and leadership in order that they might be full participants in the mission of the church.

Women’s department is a group of women working together to uphold, encourage and challenge women, 30 years of age and older, in their relationship with Christ. Various activities and events aim at meeting the  needs of women through nurturing, empowering  and  outreach. We appeal to every woman to be a part of ‘Women Leading Women’ with conviction and creativity (Titus 2).

The family was established by divine creation as the fundamental   human   institution.   It   is   the primary setting in which values are learned and the capacity for close relationships with God and with others is developed. Our mission is to encourage families to diligently spend quality time together,  studying  the scriptures, praying and playing together, and communicate effectively with one another.

Christ asked for the act of service from all His followers —  service  to Him and to one another. Our Community Services present to the public a ministry of compassion, by reaching out to the less fortunate. We prepare and serve food through our ‘Touch of Love’ programme to those in need in downtown Toronto.

Our  mission  is  to  demonstrate  the  love  of  Christ through outreach to others within the  church  body  and  in  the  community at large. We recognized that we are saved to serve, and how much we love Jesus, our actions will show. We also offer Bible studies so that people’s   spiritual   lives   can be enriched and empowered.

This   department   caters   to   the   young women between the ages of 13-35. We aim to firstly develop and strengthen our relationship with God, then with each other. We collab orate with other departments such as the  Youth Society and Community Services  to  promote  the  love of God within our community.

Men’s department is a place to mentor and encourage men by looking for ways to create paths  for their involvement in the home, church and community as they reach their potential in Christ. It seeks to reach toward divine ideals while sharing the good news of Gods’ saving grace and the personal growth that is possible through the Holy Spirit.

In Proverbs 22:6 we are encouraged to: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” The Adventurer’s program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. We cater to children in grades 1-4 and their parents. Our activities range from games and outdoor activities, to nature exploration, family camping, field trips and community service projects.

The Hope Frontiers Pathfinder club is a church-centered, spiritual and recreational program designed for boys and girls, grades  5-10. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of the youth in our church and community. Pathfinders offer a wide range of activities. Some of them include:
